This blog is the last blog of BCM241, and this blog will also serve as the basis for my research report. I will re-describe my process of doing digital media in this blog.
My media niche is positioned for young women who love long manicures. Therefore, the photos I post on Instagram are all photos of long manicures that are in line with the aesthetics of young people. Although it didn’t attract a lot of attention. But several viewers also liked their favorite nail art.

In the course of my digital media creation, I have received some feedback on how I can change the following blog and published content. For example, I received a comment asking me to write ins as Instagram, because I don’t know how people in foreign countries write social media names. I think it is a very useful suggestion. I will write ins as Instagram in subsequent blogs.

In the process of creating digital media, I carefully studied the research process of autoethnography, observed the social media content of the same type of bloggers, and based on the feedback from the audience, I experienced two epiphany processes.My first epiphany was when I posted an intricate hand-painted long manicure and received a like from a stranger, which let me know that my audience likes hand-painted manicures, and through my observation of other bloggers of the same type I found that complex hand-painted manicures are often more popular with the public, so I also released more complex hand-painted manicures in my later updates, hoping to attract everyone’s love.When it comes to privacy issues, I will code the audience’s information.

The second epiphany was when I was doing statistics on my social media and I found that a photo was liked by two people, and the photo I posted was a cute style of long manicures, which made me realize that I am targeting a good portion of my target group. People love cute style manicures. What I discovered through my own ethnography research was that I couldn’t just update based on my favorite style, but when the audience’s signals indicated what they liked, I had to update more of what the audience liked. So I went to observe the same type of bloggers, and I found that they will update according to the type of request in the comment section. So after I updated a cute style nail art, I updated a cute style nail art, and sure enough, someone liked this photo after my update.

In summary, I have a clear idea of how to be my own DA, and I will continue to update my social media content in the future, and I will continue to research my niche based on the research method of autoethnography, for my future The report lays the foundation.
